Book Snippet from FROZEN

‘That’s not the reason we brought you back here. Look, son,’ Dad’s hand points over my shoulder and I drag my sight from the massive plants.
Out in the distance something shimmers. Back and forth, it glides. The shiny midnight-blue waterline reminds me of Sadie’s glossy hair. I take a few steps closer, unable to speak. From the sky, the moon casts its reflection, causing its twin to dance effortlessly across the miles and miles of water.
‘I remember the first time my dad showed me the ocean. I was your age too,’ Dad whispers.
